Get It Right

Let's take this moment and get it right
Let's hear the song and dance tonight
Even though you're many miles away
I know you can hear exactly what i say

Will whatever this is be the same
Will we be okay ever again
Don't worry i won't tell them your name
I don't have to worry where you've been

Now my heart is beating too fast
And my body is working twice as long
I wonder whether this night will last
At least long enough to hear her song

But we're tied down by invisible strings
And those kinds are the easiest to break
But they won't until we find the things
That we would rather give then take

So let's go say hi to all our friends
They're waiting
And contemplating
How their story ends
