George Floyd Rip

I know I shouldn’t have used unreal money, When I went to do my shopping at the store, I didn’t even know it was a forgery, But I will not be doing it no more. Four cops to apprehend me seemed excessive, I had no weapon and did not resist, Before I had the chance to answer questions, The violent aggression did persist. A knee into my neck excruciating, Already handcuffed and lay on the floor, I told them that I couldn’t breathe no longer, But pain they wanted me to feel some more. The people watching couldn’t quite believe it, So glad that people filmed it on their phone, The actions of those thugs who had the power, Meant I would never ever now come home. They heard me shout a plea towards my mama, Though I knew it was ages since she passed, Despite me being motionless two minutes, They made sure that I now had breathed my last. The one who did it charged now with my murder, But don’t know why it’s only murder three, When faced with knowing that his act would kill me, The only charge, it Murder One should be. And what about the others who were there too, Who didn’t make him stop or acts condemn, If the country really wants some justice, A murder charge should also go to them. The police chief acted quickly to dismiss them, An act against humanity he said, And rioting and looting unsurprising, Cos by the police another black man dead. The president adds fuel to the fire, His words are contributing to this too, The fires and the looting gets us nowhere, But what on Earth are they supposed to do? The riots will calm down eventually, “America the great” will then come back, But my death cannot just be a statistic, Another lawless killing cos I’m black. So black or white or Asian or Hispanic, There is no excuse for this racist hate, Eliminate the racism completely, The only way to make the US great!
