Gently Appear
A crispness floats 'pon the soft breeze
Pastel color lingers
Slow moving like the morn's presence
Fall now gently appears
A red-orange color now tips
The Japanese Maple
Just the young tenderest small leaves
A few pears hang our staple
The last rose of summer now blossomed
No tender buds appear
A bright golden sun arises
Birds sing songs I hold dear
Soon the days will be much shorter
Cold will permeate the air
It will be uncomfortable
In my old rocking chair
A feeling of fall in the air this morn..
