Gentleman's Gratitude - for his wife

One smile of the orient
More its pearl, prized.
Agleam as tis, with a lustre
Moon-soft. Moon-sized.

If charmed which depth up from out
Is heart's warmest
For spoke technique no new tool used;
But this; oldest.

A tender, compact tribute that gives a beloved smile the richness of a pearl and the gentle radiance of moonlight. The short, carefully shaped lines lend the piece a formal, old-world courtesy, perfectly fitting its gentlemanly gratitude and heartfelt dedication.
