Gentle the Night

What scene can you view
for my seeing is week
expect that i could hear the sound of the nightingale
making a beautiful tone
earful to the drone of the beetles
put my ears down heard no voice
but the howling of the wind through the trees
I mimic to the hoot of the owl
the cry of the night jar frightened me
nevertheless i gave in not to threat
for i have my shadow
all i need as a companion.
