Gems

Gliding through a plain of thought
a writer's delight
Words once fleeting, no more.
A gem woven into the night.

A lovely little gem! Hey, I saw a soupmail from you in my box but with no subject line , it would not open. Did you mean to ask or tell me something. If so, could you redo it with subject heading? Thanks!

Hi Andrea, I dropped you an email to wish you a happy birthday. Sorry, there was no heading. I'll go in and correct that. Best wishes Anthony

A lovely, compact reflection on the writer’s craft. The opening movement has an airy, contemplative feel, while “A gem woven into the night” provides a graceful, luminous close; the light rhyme helps give the quatrain a satisfying musical unity

This sounds like the pleasure of finding the words for the thought to treasure a moment.
