Hi Sara, you almost feel like chasing them into your garage at least - they must have been frozen, poor geese but heartfelt Haiku - lovely read. Poetry hugs, Jennifer.

Jennifer, Thanks for the visit to my page. Your review is uplifting. Yes, as a human it seems hard to understand how they withstand the cold but they do. Sara

Jack, Those geese can rock your world for they are fun to watch but can carry the deadly flu virus. Thanks for dropping by. Sara

A delightful, uplifting haiku, Sara. Hope they stay upon the dock for a thaw is expected in the Northeast. Best wishes, Carolyn

Carolyn, The dock look very worn so don't know how much longer it will hold up for them. Thanks for the visit. Sara

M.L., From a human point of view I can't see how they stand the cold but there is a scientific reason why they can. I can't explain it but you can look it up. Thanks for your visit and your review if uplifting. Sara

Tom, I live in the south but we have got some Canada Geese who have settled here for some reason. I saw some the other day on a dock at a small pond and they were huddled up together like they were freezing hence the Haiku. Sara
