Gaze
What are you?
Something in the words that you say, gets me entrapped
You make me excited
You make me want to stop and listen
You believe I am just there for your insanity
You got scarred pretty fast
You just had to get away and leave
They tell me I am the chaser
I ask; chaser what?
The burdens of emotional immaturity
Why?
I am no better than you
I don't believe in the end you believe
Maybe in a couple of years you will see what I see
Years that I don't actually have
There is no better than you
Nobody who will ever do but you
It's hard to imagine you are that kind of foolish
The kind that walks away from what you recognised
I believe something should have snapped
If there was a string of fate I should have felt it loosen
Whether it is a matter of time
Whether you will come back to me
I don't know
I am just trying to be strong for us both
Part of me still thinks by doing wrong to me I do wrong to us
I just want to keep on gazing and gazing
Gazing at you and listen to your woes forever more
We are 2,
We make each other equally magnificent and equally insane
You are my own
I don't think there is anything there for me
If it is not you at the end
