Gave Me Purpose
Your my king I’m your queen,
a royal love that’s timeless
My world without you in it,
would be a world that’s rhyme-less
I’ll be there to hold you down,
lift you up when you have fallen
What’s good, what’s bad, what’s ugly,
you know you make my hardness soften
I know you got me, you will always
defend my very honor
everyone knows your the presence
thats always calmer
And when I struggle daily
to live this life my best way
I juggle things and give, I’m blessed
your beside me every day
You say I made the man but
boy you made this girl
Not only did you promise but you
gave meaning to my world
Gave me the greatest gift,
you gave me so much purpose
Showed me a true love is something
one can’t purchase
If Romeo and Juliet
would have survived
What we share is for what
they would have strived
