Gates of Heaven

Gates of Heaven As I stand in front of the gates of heaven. I think to myself do I belong here? Have I done enough good in my life to enter into heaven? Did I ask God, to forgive me for my sins? Did I do what I was supposed to do? God sees all and knows all. When you get to gates of heaven there is no lying, or saying I don’t know, or I forgot. He knows everything. There in the shadows above the gates, I could see a tall man, With long wavy hair. In the distances, I could hear his voice it was very deep and stern. Thinking to myself, no matter what you have done for others, or given? No matter how much money or wealth you have. It will not get you into heaven. You have only one way, and that is to ask, God to forgive you for all you sins. Did I do this? “Yes” Did I believe he was in my heart? “Yes” As I looked again, The Gates of Heaven were open, and a voice said to me, enter my child. To the house of the Lord.
