Gaslight Me

Giving me subtle clues they don't care
Asking me to work 9 hour shifts without a lunch break
Staying late and arriving early every shift
Lying to myself about the sciatica shooting down my leg
Intrinsically frustrated with my life
Giving it all despite the inevitable fall
Highlighting the fool in my heart
Too much of a team player to give up

Makes me wish I didn't care
Even though I enable my self-destruction

Christopher, it sounds like you need to learn how to say, "NO MORE!" Two small words that can send a message like no other. Good acrostic!

Thank you! I really appreciate it. This isn't a format I've done before. As for your advice I wish it was that easy. I've spoken with management and all I get is apathy. It would be one thing if they at least acted like they cared but they don't. The most frustrating part is I can't really quit because I'm making amazing money and finally have benefits. It's just a tough situation.
