Garden Thoughts

By garden bench I sit
Watch busy bees buzz wit

Sight the sun lit affair
Where light and shadow airs

Smell of floral tinctures
Fragrant airy mixtures

The garden is alive
With lovely lively strife

I sit with fantasy
In scented ecstasy

Simple and plain fare here
Warm feelings engulf cheer

No need to rush hurry
Stillness adorns fancy

A green canopy grooms
Such scented floral blooms

Weather patterns work well
To persuade sacred spells

Time stops briskly to spy
Upon a space of sighs

I sit with memory
As fantasy finds me

Fresh and green with jolly
My heart knows joy truly
