Garden Plum

Remember purple
fragrance coming
through, taste buds
waiting, such
anticipation, slivating
like wild dogs, awake,
conscious skins,
sweetness, waiting
juice exploding like
a rageful volcano
inside running
down my throat
anticipation over
mission accomplished.

Those homegrown plums when fully ripened upon the tree are delicious. Your descriptiveness in this poem is excellent. Enjoyed reading your work. Sara
