Garden Hose

Coiled up like a garden hose, 
Lying dormant on the basement floor. 
These paints, they run together, 
Greens and Blues, blend forever. 
Your life was wasted as the colors delve: 
into a poem... into a well... 
Into the concrete that's become your home.
