Game Over

I am only 1 woman w 1 heart an soul.
For an individual like me, this world is just too cold.
How can someone claim to have love an care for another,
Choose to be such a heartless brother?
What happened to compromising and understanding?
Reasoning to deepen our morality speaking. 
As 2 grown adults do..
When love is true..

Love doesnt fade. Supporting 1 another stays.
In all things that's God given in all ways. 
Understanding doesn't turn jaded, no matter how it's told.
But ur heart is always so cold...
I fold..

Here are my cards, i surrender.. 
Please dont show me your set bc my mind is a blur. 
I'm tired of playing this game. 
Don't think I'll ever look at love the same...
I'll jus become to be a memory..
Like everyone I've given my heart to has placed me.
