Galatians Five B
"Generosity," is a Fruit of the Spirit
be kind unto others in need;
they may need some money for a bit
of food or drinks; you won't much bleed.
Sometimes money isn't all they need
some may call at a time of brink;
give them freely, it's good indeed
not asking for the kitchen sink.
If you do your part without grumbling
the giving is more of an act of love;
to love thy neighbour, just give something
"in joy we give," as God first loved.
Even a blanket to a homeless man
the act of love will surely remain;
your soul in joy, your soul doth mend
to God we serve, to man a hand.
Maybe it's thy neighbour with a flat tyre
maybe it's a lady who just fell down;
the help you do takes away mire
pile up your deeds unto a mound.
So remember to read Galatians Five
practice generosity without a murmur;
till the day our self must die
meet God in Heaven, why, that's for sure!
Amen!
Galatians 5, verses 22-23 states:
v. 22: "In contrast, the Fruit of the Spirit is:
love, joy, peace, patience (long suffering),
kindness, generosity, faithfulness,"
v. 23: "gentleness, self control.
Against such there is no law."
Amen!
