Galactic Ocean

galactic ocean

elysian waves roar
 roiling galactic ocean ~
  a stellar fanfare

celestial shores gleam
 with an astral signature ~
  the cosmic heart beats
   
nebulas birth seas
 from swirling coral-blue clouds ~
  seaways of star glitz

hymns of starry rhythms
 sentinels for delta stars ~
  tides of star stories

The Galaxy, for me, is like "roiling ocean" - always moving in waves of beauty on a celestial shore. Just watched a wonderful cooking show called New Scandinavian Cooking" filmed in Norway.
