Gaia's Tears
Mother Gaia and your tears;
The weeping ages
...of the ocean,
left in pain.
Your tears,
...their not in vain,
Yet your crying will consume us.
The parasites, they leach your blood;
they sap your life and your spirit,
your beauty turns to wrinkles
...and your wrinkles melt the ice;
immersing your body in a bath
made of your tears.
We stand above you,
Yet we are below you,
your tears of sorrow make us wet,
they make us drown,
yet few can feel your tears
...and your sorrow.
Mother Gaia, spare your tears
...fore there would be nothing to cry about
If the fleas were gone.
I pray for enlightenment for us all,
so we'll realize your pain and your suffering
...and be grateful to you for the first time in centuries.
