Gabriel, Part 2

But then he came along, so I suppose he's to blame
For breaking my laws just by speaking my name
He may not know it, but he’s found his way into my heart
He took all my walls and tore them all apart
And he filled my world with his vibrant melodies
That lingered long after his fingers had left the keys
And his passion is found in his stormy eyes
Until his smile turns the storm into bright peaceful skies
And the music, it's like it's a part of his being
As important as breathing, or walking, or seeing
And it’s cliche, I know, this poem I’ve written
But I’m just so ecstatic to finally be smitten
Maybe someday I’ll tell him, or maybe never at all
But it’s lovely, just lovely, to feel yourself fall
He gave me new life by breaking my one rule
Cause he played Chopin for me, and now I’m a fool
