On a mission greater than myself, Thinking of the greater future an nothing else, Spending time relinquishing the old system, For reconstruction, For the beauty which may stem, Binding through confusion, So clarity can be the guide, Pardon for the declaration, The declaration of future life, Of unity and tranquility, Of community and the decease of hostility, Through the change we should celebrate, For saying good bye to history, And hello to the future the new world will create, What will lie ahead is mystery, However the obstacles ahead are fate, That will lead us to our slate, Cherish our children for they are blessed, To see the future at it’s best, There is no end to the life, Just a change that will end the scalding knife.
