Futile

I've been listening to some advice on the internet
that says if I don't leave it's something I'll regret.
They say he has a choice while mine are set in stone.
Will he leave me to retreat where I will be alone?

I trust I shouldn't listen and that the angels have my back.
Even if he did he'd find out real soon he's lost track.
I've came to a decision not to pay them any heed.
Futile is the mind when we're not walking in the lead.

Thank you, Caren. I do think that being a leader is better than being a follower. :)

You are your own best advisor, Angela. The feelings you convey perhaps many can relate to. Stay strong!
