Funny Pages

Walking through the funny pages of my mind Wondering what was left there to find Anything that might show me the way Getting me far away from today Yesterday's.the wrong trail And I know that didn't end too well I won't be needing some fancy looking gal She ended up with my ol pal He now owns my new car And I always end up drunk at his bar Drinking what was left Of my hard earned cash Telling me to forgive and forget Leaving town is my best bet yesterday's the past He should I should head out move real fast .........,Stop ..... So lets just back up a few pasesg take a moment rethink them lost wages He takes my lady and he's driving my new car I end up drunk sitting in his bar It took the rest of my hard earned cash drinking all night just to rehash So no new gal shall I find Going to leave all that far behind Don't really want to know. What life had got to show It gotta be way better than the ones gone past A time when things weren't built to last Tomorrow may be better than it seems Maybe I can find some new dreams Go riding off right into that sunset for sure For yesterday there's only one cure That's to head on out for tomorrow Before you go drop off yesterdays sorrow I I got up headed on out Didn't even bother to scream or shout Started out moving so fast heading away from the past Let's go back a few pages I went back in took all the wages Now I'm heading out of this black hole Driving this brand new car I stole I didn't bother with that fancy gal Left her sitting there with with my ol pal Suddenly life seems so kind Now I'm ready to leave it all behind Now leaving yesterday so very fast It's ok tommorow this will be in the past
