Funeral of Love

She didn’t speak
She didn’t call
She didn’t sing the song of the fall
She didn’t smile
Or wave me goodbye
Just disappeared across the miles

And left me so lonely
Lonely as I could be
If I could just undo
I would be with you only

She didn’t weep
She didn’t cry
She didn’t tell the reasons why
She didn’t know
That I would die
Without her love in my life

And left me so lonely
Lonely as I could be
If I could just undo
I would be with you only

She didn’t smile
She didn’t cry
She only left her ashes behind
But she did know
Deep in her heart
That we would forever never part
