Funeral Of Fireflies

 I
as
a child,
loved night time.
Summer with fireflies,
made the nights very magical.
We love catching them and putting them in a glass jar.
The pretty jar was all aglow then morning came a sad funeral for all of them.

Awwwn my dear Sweet Paulaaaa! I love this whimsical lil Fibonacci that just waltzes with the innocence of fireflies n their fleeting yet eternal glow.. I've never seen them but I'm so drawn to their magic ✨ ~ love the summery essence that you've painted here with glimmers of nostalgia, felt very heartwarming.. and that sad ending, sigh, yes, their life as it ends.. turns the atmosphere quite bittersweet n then poignant.. beautiful as always! Congratulations on your placement in my contest! Hugsz and love ~ sending you soothing starbeams 🧚🍁🍂💫🌙✨

Ahhh!!! This one reads like a good contender to me for the contest. Way to go. I remember the firefly days of my youth. My parents always made me let them go soon after I caught them so they would not die. Sara K. 👏✍️

It would be sad that they no longer glowed in the morning.

Hello, human poet! Fantastic job with this one. Very creative trip down memory lane. I really like this format. I have dabbled with it a couple of times or so but still trying to get the hang of it. Nicely done, Paula!
