Full Time Wife, Full Time Mom, Part Time Me
When I was younger, I had dreams of a great career
Independent woman, no husband or children in the future for many years
Plans unravel causing adjustments and change
Life isn't made to be prearranged
Many women feel as I do and see what I see
Full time wife, full time mom, part time me
My time alone is precious and enjoyed
But without our children we would have a giant void
Later in life maybe things will slow down
Life is a lot of sink or swim, I won't allow myself to drown
Cooking, cleaning, paying bills, busy as a bee
Full time wife, full time mom, part time me
Sometimes when life seems so much out of control
There are times when I feel like a prisoner with no chance for parole
We've had some setbacks, with very little victory
I ask myself what changes would make me happy
All of us ladies are a full time wife, full time mom, a part time m
