Frozen Over

the north pier lighthouse frozen over
snow and ice is all you see
frigid, long icicles hang

Thanks Andrea for your comment. This lighthouse I have seen only in summer. Frigid weather freezes anything near the Michigan's shoreline at this time of year. Warm Smiles, Connie

Hi Connie, it’s always a pleasure to read your work. The way you work in the words no matter what the form -just beautiful. The thought of a frozen lighthouse is oh so not one in the sea would want to encounter -you've shown it well. I’m definitely looking forward to reading more poems from you. Vicky.
