Frozen
Oh how the day's have passed
fluttered past the window pane
reflected back to me
in windows, mirrors
I forgot the sound
of laughter in my life
the warm feeling of a hug
the pull of loving arms
when did I become so numb
to life and love?
when did my heart get put on hold
and left out in the rain?
I have ceased to see in color
or find joy in human eyes
that love is gone from me
but where did it go?
I don't remember giving
maybe it was stolen
lost but never found
frozen in the night...........
