Notes About The Poem

Frosty Mixology

Whispering snowflakes Slowly form a cocktail dance~ With winter's embrace The lonely heartbeat Ebbs to nothing in the cold~ Silence claims its toll. Lost in darkened skies They say look, sun will come one day~ But pain lingers on In shadows, I dwell Vines of sorrow grip my heart~ Stars weep in despair

Such a sad one. The lines drip with heartache. You have captured the emotion very well. Excellent creativity and emotion portrayed. Sara

Such a melancholic piece, hued with grieving shades and sombre soliloquy, when we revolve in spirals searching for light, only to be succumbed by the eternity of shadows and darkness and pain continues to live on. "Whispering snowflakes", "The lonely heartbeat ebbs to nothing in the cold", " Vines of sorrow grip my heart, stars weep in despair " Love the descriptions and imagery here, so profound and deep..
