Frostbite

I'm cursed by my own experience,
A compendium of wisdom with its own consequence,
Innocence non-existent if otherwise frail,
A heart that went through the sea and stopped its sail

I've completed a certain journey,
A journey only finished by my body,
My heart and soul still trying to conquer it,
Until a new light of hope is lit

When will I ever finish this ordeal?
Trapping my heart in ice forgetting how to feel?
Praying that at least my soul be saved,
So that it could continue finding the love it craved.
