Front On

"Front On"

I am in your thoughts
night and day 
you try to dismiss me
but there I stay
like a tap dripping
all night 

and when you’re in 
the shower of your 
remonstrating psyche
comes the morning
when you break the wake
the water caresses you

and there I am again 

with your back to the wall

front on 

running late

Where all the world is healed
The sleeping finally feel
Like I can stop the floods
The burning of the fields
I am your holy shield
The truth will soon reveal ..."
