From White to Brown

Fields of snow are starting to melt,
Pristine whiteness turns to brown shade,
As snowflakes and grime in chunks dwelt,
Fields of snow are starting to melt,
Uncovered ochre footprints welt;
Under the weight of paw pads spade,
Fields of snow are starting to melt,
Pristine whiteness grows to brown shade.

Is the transition due to something like climate change, or is it from normal weather changes on a short-term basis. Glaciers in the Arctic and Antarctic are slipping into the ocean daily, the ocean is rising which is affecting humanity with more than the cold or hot weather, properties that were built by the coast, are redundant, no re-sale value, undue storms .. Causing floods and more and more landslides 'Fields of snow are starting to melt pristine whiteness turns to brown shade'. Very sad. All the above mentioned have become reality.
