From the Sun To the Moon
To concern my lost reflection
I let the sun burn the hope that holds sway
And to appease the infections
I let the monster on my back take my face
Now the light is receding
The cosmic truth to the love we’ve betrayed
But now it’s the mirror I’m reading
The only ‘we’ is in the ghosts I can taste
So awful and ironic
Every plan to be me has prevailed
All my lies are so honest
And every nightmare has become my parade
I delight in redemption
I only smile at the things I repay
It was once for ascension
But now the burning has finally taken me away
Now I find the coldest of the oceans
I turn to ice but I know it’s okay
Though I can’t sink without emotions
But now I see the edge of the world on it’s way
I am the glass and the bleeding
But the wind on my back fills my sails
And now the moonlight is healing
I’m out of the world with the moon’s silent rays
