From the Outside

Gritting my teeth
Frustration supersedes
Yet i'll be the last man standing
So many knock outs
So many failures
A Lot of mistakes
Biting the dust many times
Falling short
No! Not any more
I am going to up the ante
From the outside you saw a loser
From the inside
come and meet the winner
I am going for gold
Hitting the bullseye
Just in time for dinner
Watch me smile
It ain't getting any dimmer
Watch me glow
As my winnings grow
From the outside
You saw me losing
Now out of your ears
My winnings is oozing
You stopped hearing the roar of delight
It was deafening!
