From The Cradle To The Grave
From the cradle to the grave I've been unable to save
My people from this evil they fall slaves to this trade
They tell me don't give up but to give it a try
But why am I fighting to live if I'm just living to die
I continue to fall under these calls of thunder
For my grandma when they stunned her I was lost in a wonder
It's hard to stay afloat when they're sinking your boat
They know I don't smoke but you can smell the stink in my coat
I use to take your breath looking hot and fresh
But now I look of death slowly falling apart ever since I got in this mess
For my people are leaving, one by one going all in a line
While the evil is creeping from behind, along with the Reaper slowly digging deeper & deeper into my mind
When I was born it was said I was bred to a fleet
They tell me to retreat but it's hard to move when I see my people lifeless dead at my feet
I grew up cold hearted and emotionless
But if you study me long enough you'll see my motions shift
Sometimes I ask why me and just wish I was free, washed away in the ocean's drift
Trying to ride the tide while the water whips the ship from side to side until it dips or its slowly flipped
I've managed to escape death not once but twice it was like he didn't want my life and chose to remain in the shadow still
While watching my every call just scheming on my fall treating life like war and everyday I'm on tour or I'm rising from shore just to remain in the battlefield….
