From Summer To Spring

The flowers awaken,
at last the sun shines!

                                The waters are glistening,
                                like wrinkles in time.

Rays of sunlight
peek through the sky,
Then little by little,
The leaves start to die!

                               The colors all change
                               to bright orange and red,
                               The trees take shelter,
                               for a winter they'll dread.

A blanket of snow
covers the earth,
then it all melts away,
replaying earth's birth.

                               Then the sky turns dark,
                               as rain trickles down,
                               And the flowers all bud,
                               like shimmering crowns.
