Our family friend suddenly passed on Thursday. She will be missed.
The calm of whispering winds among the trees
the soothing balm upon your skin, the breeze
the paint upon the canvas falls
this helped you break down lonely walls
of youthful smiles and promises
when night arrived, it cloaked your loneliness
your sigh is heard, your soul undressed
missing life's sweet caress
your mind was burdened with duress
you never wanted to cause them stress
you took it all in your stride
while turmoil unwanted soon collides
When family and friends deceive
a wicked web of lies they weaved
you toured the walls for company
your Facebook friends were friendly and true
Everyone will now miss you
I hope your soul is now at rest
Vicky, you were kind and caring
your soul and story worth some sharing
and now my friend you are finally free
Feel the breeze from Heavens tree
Rest in peace from me to you.
