From Fun To Fright
Some friends were traveling far out of town
Day soon turned to night still driving round and round
They didn’t care ‘cause they were having fun
Telling jokes and laughing at every single one
The ride was smooth and music mighty good
Right up till they heard rumbling under the hood
Since it was the middle of the night
Of course there was no garage in sight
They were stranded in some strange forsaken place
They pulled into a dimly lit estate in condition of disgrace
Rapped the knocker next to the sign that said Haunted Manor
That’s when the door slowly opened in some squeaky manner
Much to their dismay they had to stay the night
Didn’t sleep a wink they’d worked up such a frightful fright
