-from Death Into Life (For Me and For You)-

Little hands that loved to touch
would one day be pierced through.
Little feet that ran through fields
would be spiked for me and for you.

This Little One so free from care
would one day know sins weight.
This One so young with love to share
would be crucified outside the gate.

This Boy who grew in favor with God
would in time be rejected of men.
This Youth working wood in Nazareth
would be brought to a shameful end.

He journeyed this life from infant to man
to identify with every generation.
He went once for all time from death into life
to bring forth a new creation.
