From Canada To Texas
From Canada to Texas I pray for you.
I wish I could bring you generators,
or ask what I could do.
It’s not fair to see you suffer in the cold.
Resources on the media, “help” right away has been told.
If you read my poem, I write it from my heart.
Help from anywhere would be a start.
Stay positive, keep yourself wrapped up tight.
Hoping the cold will melt away from sunlight.
I never imagined a winter in your beautiful state.
