From Birth To..

Born to no newsflash
A quiet birth
Amongst so many
Quietly forgotten amongst siblings
Michael Joseph Jackson

50 years later
No newspaper
Is without his name
Displaying his mourned death
How so many have cried

The sadness
Is because of such a unique talent
The man he should of grew up to be
Was buried
Before he even became a teenager

He had already died...

I love this ... we have a common vision of the king, I tried to capture in 4 elegies what you have done in one. Bravo!

This is lovely, Jo, and rings of so much truth. He never had a chance to enjoy his childhood and somehow everyone seemed to have "opinions" on the way he led his life. Still, he had enormous talent and will be missed by many fans. I really loved his early work. "Ben" was my favorite. He had a beautiful voice. Love, Carolyn
