From Birth
Dawn Mclaughlin
When I was born
I learnt too walk,
At the age of five
Wanted high heels,
Reaching ten fifteen was near,
Wanting makeup pink glossy lips,
Then sixteen that was a shock
From bumps to humps
Flats to curves,
Sight for sore eyes
Not knowing seems absurd.
Blushing and bloomed
From duckling to swan,
What ever a age
A era you are in,
is how you feel
Inside your being
Life is for living
Let it begin.
