From Beyond
Far higher than the highest mountain
More resolute than the monsoon rain
My spirit soars into the realm of heavens
Like Icarus among the crows and ravens.
From a distance far and yonder
Whispers of ancient times and wonder
On the wings of wind, over the waves of sea
Who calls my name? Who beckons me?
Carrying within the fervor of molten lava
My spirit burns brighter than the star Nova
And then quietly dissipates and dies
away like the soul from a dying body flies.
