From a Dad to his children God is There

If you're not sure if God does exist,
This, please be willing to try.
Think about Him in the most loving way,
Ignore thoughts that say to deny.
Just start thanking Him for all that you see,
And especially for creating you.
What can you lose for thinking He is there,
Or can do what the bible says He can do?
I have had problems and saw no way out,
All that I could do was cry.
A voice said "you've got nothing to lose,
You might as well give it a try?"
I thought. "I'm just one of billions of people,
Would the Creator care about my request?"
Tears in my eyes, I said "God I need help?"
The events that followed told me "YES!"
Things began to fall right in place,
The right persons or words at the right time.
A stranger passed by said something to me,
What he said was what I sought in my mind.
My children, I tell you that God really cares,
But you must be willing to believe.
You do your part and He will do His,
What you need He'll be sure you receive.
Most have grown up playing make believe,
or had an invisible friend.
Just try it again now, this time with God,
And you'll have a good outcome in the end.
The bible don't sugar coat anything about God,
The good and the bad is there too!
Never has there been a book that is written,
Where everything in it proves true.
We cannot blame others. It is our choice,
As to whether or not God  is real.
To all of my children, God has answered many prayers,
Trust the bible and not how you feel.
Here is something simple, do it His way,
Give thanks to Him throughout the day.
You will notice something wonderful inside,
As a response to the things that you say!
A knowing you can't seem to put into words,
Happenings you cannot ignore.
Once you stop and go back to old ways,
Your heart will say "Please give me more!"
