Friendship Faded In Time
I won’t let you fade away
There will never be another lost day
No more wondering where you are
Or wondering if you live very far
Through the years you’ve come to mind
Not just once, but many times
Who you are and what you became
Did you marry and give someone your name?
And now so randomly it seems we find
And there is no way to ever rewind time
All we can do is start from today
And never let life get in our way
I think we even knew way back then
That this friendship would never die and never come to an end
Getting lost in our own separate lives
And forever floating in space and endless time
I found you now for a reason I know
A friend for life and only time will show
Our hearts remain in times of the past
But today is forever and I know this time is not our last.
