Friendship Declined
Unrealistic views on people who don't even matter,
Wanting to believe in someone who's dreams just shatter.
Why do you listen or why do you follow?
To believe the incapable are all but too shallow.
Friends come and they go faster than ever,
Taking jabs closer and closer to all but just sever.
The main vein that consists is your arteries and your heart
You only need those to pick up yourself and restart
Why should you get away with being malevolent and disgusting,
Half the word should look at themselves and be distrusting.
The morals and views are gone to the past,
Our forefathers knew that this would not last.
They laid the stones for friendship through loyalty and trust,
Staging the present for a whole lot of lust.
Turn around tomorrow and stand in the mirror,
Your past will make the present a whole lot clearer.
