Friendship Day

Start
Friends, today is the day
To thank you and say
Our friendship taught me
Break the shackles become free
Love the animals and birds
Be kind to them in deed and words
Sway in the breeze
Remain entrenched like trees
Imbibe courage to fight evil
Never display the heart’s feeble
Fear not the moon with its misty light
See the mystique of a Halloween night
Give solace to the needy
Be wary of the greedy
You’re like the freshness of dew
That drives the squalid air leaving no clue.
