Lucy lovely read, as Peter said we do not really have anyone that we could call our friends, we find family is enough, but we do consider all you people on this site our friends especially the ones we write to, we have had so many friends who have turned on us so sometimes they are not worth it, lovely write my dear, take care............Vera...........

Dear Lucilla, Your poem is wonderful. Some of us live alone and have no family Friendships are very important to us. Amen to what you said at the end: "Finding a good friend is like finding a treasure. If you don't protect it - you will lose it..." I wish everyone realized this.
