* Friendship

Friendship is like a an old antique trunk;
The longer you keeper it the more it is worth.

Friendship is like the fire bellowing,
The closer you are the warmer you get.

Friendship is like a worn out tatter torn teddy bear.
Little bare on the outside but always needed.

Friendship we should always try and keep,
True ones will always be there to the end.

Rhonda, this is SO true! I have a girlfriend that I've known for 33 years. We will always be close, despite the distance between our homes. When we get together, it's as if we've never been apart. Thanks for this fantastic write! Hugs, Donna
