Friends

I am rather new to this space
that lets me unravel my thoughts,
my feelings unwind.
There is a kinship felt,
friends from the airways,
unspoken the ties that bind.
True feelings are spoken here,
anger,sadness,and humor,
one heck of a ride.
The poems that make you think,
ones that make you love,
even the ones that hurt down inside.
There are true artists here,
born of this place,
which I am honored to be a part.
For most of the poets here,
pour forth great feelings,
words written from the heart.
