Friends
With one of them unable to walk these five friends sat around
And soon they began to talk about this man Jesus they had found
The amazing things He could do and all the things that He would say
Maybe this Jesus could cure you as the five soon up and made their way
In pulling their friend along in his cart they went in seeking Jesus out
For now they were lead by their heart leaving behind any form of doubt
So down the street these five did go with only this one thought in mind
It was Jesus they wanted to know but first they would have to come to find
And finally a very large crowd all packed into this tiny little place
Yet this crowd was not at all loud and they could just sense such Grace
But the crowd would not thin as they made their way around the side
Still not being able to get in no matter how hard they all had tried
So they climbed up the houses' wall and pulled up their dear friend
And through a whole made in the straw down to Jesus they would send
What a sight that must of been as all eyes now suddenly start to gawk
With this Jesus first freed him from his sin then saying, get up and walk
Kind of like us and our friends who we have come to love over the years
Oh the message this story sends when your friends are covered in tears
Carry them with you going upon your way no matter how hard it may be
For it could just be in what you say that will one day finally set them free
